Múinteoir Sinéad J. Infants

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and looking after each other at home. I have outlined below a small bit more work to keep all my little buddies busy during their time at home. Parents please do not worry; this is all suggested work on areas we have already explored in school there is no pressure for it all to be complete. I am missing you all so much and I can’t wait until we are back in the class together but until then I hope you take time to have fun as a family, enjoy the lovely weather and have a wonderful Easter break 😊

See you all soon,

Múinteoir Sinéad

PE: A recommendation of some sites, these can all be accessed via. YouTube also

Children can also continue on with our SuperTroopers Active Work-we are still working on the Lime weeks. 😊

Irish:

Our current theme was “An Teilifis” so this is a great opportunity to watch a few programmes in Irish with your children. TG4 is accessible on the television and also online tg4.ie. Cula 4 is the children’s section of their website.

Phonics/Reading:

  • Jollyphonics app is a great resource to download as it is the programme we use in school, unfortunately there is a charge to access all content but Group 1 can be accessed and revised for free which fits in with our revision of Jollyphonics sounds at the moment.
  • Vooks.ie-this is a great website full of online books which the children can watch while the stories are read to them. We use this a lot in the class and we love it. This website is also now allowing free access to parents just follow this link
