Book Project: This week we are going to write Chapter Two. Do out a plan for chapter two. The most important part of Chapter Two is an Extraordinary Event that changes your main characters life. Use the following questions to help you:
- How did Chapter One end?
- Are there any new characters in Chapter Two?
- What is the Extraordinary Event?
- Does it make your characters’ life better or worse?
- How do the characters respond to the Extraordinary Event?
- How do they feel about the Extraordinary Event?
Art: This week we are going to be making a Collage. Collect newspapers, magazines, leaflets, old picture books. Cut out interesting pictures and designs from these materials. Stick these cut outs onto a sheet of paper to make a new picture.
Music: Explore classical music. Find a classical song you like and write the name of the song, the composer (who wrote it) and why you like it.
Oral Language: Watch a movie and write a review. The review should give your opinion of the film without giving away any important parts of the story. Give your movie review to your parents orally (spoken out loud).
Remember to help out at home and be good! Looking forward to seeing your work online.
All the best,
