  • Use the past tense for the main events
  • Write about the most important events in order
  • Describe your feelings and emotions

Task – To edit and publish your diary extract. Please read back over your writing from yesterday and self-edit your work. Did you use capital letters correctly? Did you use the correct punctuation such as full stops and commas? Are there any words you think you need to check the spelling for? Take another colour pen and edit your writing then re-write in your most beautiful writing. Draw a picture to illustrate your work. Finally set up your ‘Reader’s Chair’ and read this to someone in your home.

Gaeilge

  • Léitheoireacht. Reading

Task – Read Ag Bogadh Tí 1 page 103 in your book Léigh sa Bhaileand answer the questions.

  • If you have internet access, I would recommend going onto https://www.cjfallon.ie/  where you can access Léigh sa Bhaile.
  • You will see Important Notice on the homepage offering you free access to the books. You will then see a table with different columns.
  • From the left hand side tick Primary/ 4th Class/ Gaeilge/ Léigh sa Bhaile/ Léigh sa Bhaile Leabhar 4/ and then in the final resource column, if you untick the online book it will bring up the option for audio. You can access the mp3 audio recording of the comprehensions.
