Hi everyone. I hope you had a nice Easter Holiday and are continuing to stay safe and keeping your social distance of 2 metres from others. Listed below is the suggested work for this week. Try to get as much done as you can but again, don’t stress if you don’t get everything completed.

Monday

Gaeilge:    

  • An Teilifís – Write about 5 television shows that you like or dislike (Is maith liom…/ Ní maith liom agus cén fáth)
  • Continue with Léigh sa Bhaile Page 100

Maths

English

  • Exposition (persuasive) writing – “Home schooling is better than classroom learning” – Write an exposition in support of this statement. Your exposition should have a title, an opening statement which says that you agree with the title, at least 5 reasons to support your opening statement and a conclusion.
  • Reading – daily reading for 10-15 minutes
  • Continue on with Read at Home Page 100

PE

SESE – Geography

  • Again, once you have set up your account on https://www.cjfallon.ie/, you can access Small World Geography and Science 5th class and read pages 67 to 69 on Communication and do the activities on page 69.

  • Poetry – Write an acrostic poem using the word Coronavirus
  • Diary entry – From the story “Women and Children First”. Imagine you were on the Titanic, write a diary entry from the ship on the day it hit the iceberg. Recount what you did that day, who is with you, what are your feelings, etc.
