Suggested work for 6th – 8th May
Hi 6th Class!
Missing you all, hope you are all doing well and minding yourselves and your families. A big thanks to anyone who sent in photos of their work or messages about what they have been getting up to last week. It’s lovely to hear how you are getting on.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of birthdays in our class, so I would like to wish Alina and Kate a big happy birthday, and I’d also like to wish Tristan a happy birthday for this week!
Here is the suggested work for this week. Try your best but don’t worry if you’re not able to do it all. Remember to do what suits you and your family best.
If you are in a position to do so, your parents can send me photos of your work, activities, or anything you are proud of using the Aladdin app, or alternatively photos can be emailed to us at: admin@naascns.ie for the school newspaper.

Recipe Writing (Procedure writing)
Write or type up a recipe of your choice. It would be nice to choose a recipe that you could then make for yourself or your family this week for lunch (with permission). Examples might include a delicious sandwich, toasted sandwiches, beans on toast, a simple salad etc. Just be sure to clean up afterwards!
I would love to see your recipes as I am running out of ideas for my own lunch!!
Hint: The sections of a procedural text, which we explored earlier in the year are:
- Title
- Goal
- Ingredients/Utensils
- Method
